Optimized the User Interface Controls

The program now returns to the previous period length if no edit was made to the period length (instead of setting the period to 1 min) and allows users to edit the period length by simply tabbing into the fields - users now have greater controls mouseless!

I also wrote an anti-aliasing shader for the background of the application in case someone (like me) thinks the background is too pixelated. Just drag the shader file into the folder and use it to replace the shader originally in the folder.
